NASHVILLE, Tenn., June 18, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today, Bridge Connector announces the launch of its new, enterprise app products division. As a technology company offering "no-code" integrations to connect disparate data systems in health care, the new app division will expand on Bridge Connector's expertise automating workflows between platforms such as the electronic health record (EHR), customer relationship management (CRM), and many others used to manage health IT data.
Bridge Connector recently acquired ZagHop, a Nashville-based development company which specializes in Salesforce development, apps and integrations, to launch the new app products division under the leadership of former ZagHop owner and developer, Jonathan James.
In his new role with Bridge Connector, James will serve as senior director, CRM applications, where he will develop app products to address emerging use cases in health care, including social determinants of health, and will continue to grow the organization's partnership with Salesforce, building apps on the Salesforce platform to deliver quick value to existing and future Bridge Connector customers.
James and ZagHop focused on developing customized Salesforce solutions for organizations and has been engaged with Bridge Connector since October to begin their venture into the app space.
"We saw an untapped market to develop quick time-to-value products for our customers. Given our exceptional experience with Jonathan through his ZagHop development company, we knew that he was the right person to lead Bridge Connector's strategic growth in this capacity," said Joshua Douglas, Bridge Connector chief technology officer.
"Bridge Connector is changing the way health care communicates with our 'no-code' integrations platform and our new app division. Jonathan's leadership allows us to use that experience and technology to reach our customers where they are already conducting business, with enterprise app technologies that leverage CRM's power in new and exciting ways," said Douglas.
James was a developer for both education and e-commerce companies prior to his work with health care organizations, where he has created solutions that facilitate patient communications, payment management, and patient financing options.
"Health care applications have historically been difficult to use, with a less than desirable user experience. My philosophy with developing products is that they must be intuitively designed and immediately useful from the user's perspective," said James. "The accessibility of apps combined with the CRM's proficiency with closing informational gaps, make it a win-win product offering for businesses like Bridge Connector who are committed to clicks, not code, to change how various industries like healthcare do business effectively."
Bridge Connector's new app product division of the company is also supported with two other recent vice president announcements.
Lane Conger Maples, formerly associate vice president with InVivoLink, the care management platform for orthopedic and spine procedures, has been hired as Bridge Connector's vice president, client experience. During her tenure at InVivoLink, Maples oversaw all of the health IT data integrations of most the major EHR and electronic medical record (EMR) vendors during HCA's acquisition of the company and helped scale their account management practices from five to over 100 clients.
Matt Wimberley, formerly director, data analytics, with Bridge Connector, has been promoted to vice president, product. Wimberley is a seasoned health care professional with specialized experience in software implementation, revenue cycle management, data analytics and regulatory compliance. In addition to consulting with hospital associations to provide clinical data strategy, and with payers to spearhead population health efforts with data analytics, Wimberley is also a licensed attorney and an award-winning author on "meaningful use."
In April, Bridge Connector announced an additional $10 million in funding from Axioma Ventures, LLC, bringing its total investment capital raised to $20 million in 13 months of being in business. Its core product is an integration-platform-as-a-service (iPaaS), which helps customers from across the health care continuum to integrate data across EHR, CRM, and other third-party platforms, to gain efficiency and lower costs, while improving patient care.
