Bedford, NH (PRWEB) May 10, 2016 -- 4D Technologies, a leading developer of innovative, on-demand learning content and education delivery tools, is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Murphy to Senior Director of Product Strategy for CADLearning. In this new role, Matt will spearhead the continued development and implementation of the company’s mission to deliver quality content and education tools designed for today’s learner.
Matt joined 4D Technologies as the Director of Content Management and Development in 2008. His work to build a team of in-house Autodesk software subject matter experts and streamline the creation of CADLearning content has helped to improve quality, increase the quantity of learning titles for Autodesk software, and speed up time-to-market for CADLearning enterprise customers.
“Matt’s contributions to our CADLearning products have been instrumental to their success in the Autodesk user community,” comments Dave Micciche, Chief Operating Officer for 4D Technologies. “His understanding of what it takes to build and deliver a quality learning experience is unparalleled, and we are fortunate to have him driving our future learning product initiatives in the Autodesk space.”
Matt has more than 35 years of experience as an instructor and trainer, as well as an AutoCAD software expert. He has been recognized by Autodesk since 1985 as a leader in providing professional training, serving as an adviser and consultant to the training industry as Chair of the Autodesk Training Center Advisory Board (ATCAB) and Executive Committee (ATCEC), and is currently a member of the Autodesk University Advisory Council. Matt has also received numerous instructional awards, including the ATC Eastern Regional Instructor of the Year for 2004. He is a frequent featured columnist for numerous industry publications and a 23-year veteran speaker at Autodesk University, where he has been named the top Autodesk University Speaker seven times.
“Today’s need for performance support means a higher need for using content that is relevant, inspiring and easy to find and use,” says Murphy about the challenges of delivering educational content in today’s society. “We are changing the focus of our content development and delivery away from traditional courses to a more atomized level that’s more consistent with customer demands for the consumption of content. Using personalized playlists that are adaptive based on your current knowledge, skills and practices will incrementally improve productivity.”
