ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., Oct. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- A new type of fantasy story is introduced in author Ricardo Martinez's novel "The Witch's Door: Stories from the Book of Bella." This intriguing story will capture the interest of readers of all ages as the powers of a psychic and witch are joined together like never before in this coming of age tale.
"The Witch's Door" follows an adolescent boy named Juan Aguilar who was born a psychic but did not understand his supernatural abilities at his young age. Readers will embark on an unpredictable journey with Juan as he accidentally time travels from 1926 back to 1826 after entering a cursed house in Questa, New Mexico and spends a decade of his life searching for clues to get back to the present time and his family in Albuquerque.
As his pursuit through the villages of New Mexico continues with a local family Juan joins, he encounters Bella the witch and the notorious witch hunter Luciano del Valle and is faced with a decision that almost seems impossible to make- does he return to his long-lost family or does he stay back in time with his new adoptive family? This coming of age story is more than just facing hard decisions, it is filled with spirits, good and bad witches, harsh times, love, and heartbreak.
"I wrote this book to introduce readers to a new type of psychic and witches story and to captivate readers who like to read fantasy stories," said Martinez.
Readers will eagerly flip through the pages as they read through this unforeseen fantasy and will feel inspired by Juan's desire to help other young souls he meets along the way on their own journey home.
