Celebrate Sober October With a Mocktail, Marnie Rae Inspires with Spiced Apple Recipe
Raise a toast and celebrate Sober October with a Mocktail, a trend that is gaining in popularity. So popular in fact that National Mocktail Week founded by Marnie Rae, will be celebrated January 12-18, 2020.
SEATTLE, Oct. 22, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Raise a toast and celebrate Sober October with a Mocktail, a trend that is gaining in popularity. Across America mocktails are making the menu thanks in part to the 'sober-curious' movement and the desire by many to abstain from alcohol.
"Sober October is helping people get healthier by putting a focus for one month on reducing alcohol consumption. We celebrate the notion and hope that when people are getting together that they enjoy a mocktail instead of a cocktail," said Marnie Rae, founder of National Mocktail Week.
In January 2019, America celebrated the first National Mocktail Week with great success. Its mission is to support and celebrate the decision to drink non-alcoholic cocktails and encourages friends and family to do the same. In 2020, National Mocktail Week will be held January 12- 18.
The Mocktail movement is spearheaded by Marnie Rae. 17 years ago, Marnie became sober and it didn't take long for her to realize that fun, delicious, grown-up cocktails were not an option in most of the hospitality world. Marnie founded National Mocktail Week as just one aspect of her movement to make Mocktails a standard on the drink menu both at home and in bars/restaurants.
This fall enjoy an October inspired Mocktail with friends and family.
