This year's conference is timely as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention calculated that more 70,237 overdose deaths occurred in 2017. With the increasing rise of overdoses and the introduction of new drugs (i.e. Fentanyl) the recovery treatment industry is looking at new ways to address what is quickly becoming an epidemic. Center for Behavioral Health has been on the forefront of introducing and implementing a number of patient centric protocols that integrate many community providers to surround patients with a full array of social services.
"Over the past year Center for Behavioral Health has been able to better integrate its care with a network of care providers within its surrounding community and state," said Brant Massman, CEO of Center for Behavioral Health. "The focus of the Rx Summit has always been focused on collaboration and acts as platform for recovery stakeholders to discuss what's working in prevention and treatment. Krista and Shay are two of the finest leaders and thinkers in integrating community resources for recovering patients and I look forward to them sharing insight and best practices that we have learned in helping patients define their recovery plan."
