Appoints Franklin Guerrero to Strengthen National Philanthropy Efforts
TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla., Feb. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Chapters Health System, the largest not-for-profit hospice and advanced illness care organization in the United States, today announced the appointment of Franklin Guerrero as the new Executive Director and Chief Development Officer of the Chapters Health Foundation.
Guerrero, accomplished fundraising executive with more than 20 years of experience in developing successful fundraising strategies, previously served as the Vice President of Major and Planned Gifts at Capital Caring Health, a Chapters Health affiliate organization. He also partnered with leadership at organizations such as AARP Foundation, Hispanic Scholarship Fund, Project HOPE, USA for UNHCR and Children International.

Guerrero holds degrees from the University of Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Garrett Theological Seminary located at Northwestern University, advanced certificates in fundraising and business and agile management from The Fundraising School at Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University, The Owens School of Management at Vanderbilt University, and The McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He also holds a certificate in Philanthropic Psychology from The Institute of Sustainable Philanthropy in Scotland and graduate studies in nonprofit management from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
