Vic’s Drum Shop to Present Meinl Day, Featuring Deals, Door Prizes, Workshops, and Guest Performer/Sales Pro Derek Roddy

The free event will feature door prizes, demos and workshops, and special pricing on all in-stock Meinl cymbals and percussion.

Appearing at the event and presenting an interactive workshop at 5:30pm will be extreme metal drummer and Meinl artist Derek Roddy, who last appeared at Vic’s at the store’s grand opening. Famous for his ability to record entire drum tracks in one or two takes, Roddy is regarded as one of metal’s best and fastest drummers, and has played and recorded with Hate Eternal, Nile, Malevolent Creation, Divine Empire, Council of the Fallen, Today Is the Day, Traumedy, and Aurora Borealis.
In addition to performing at the Meinl event, Roddy will also show off his music retail expertise by personally advising and assisting shoppers in their selection of new gear.
