SAN DIEGO, Dec. 17, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CleverMade, a consumer product-based company that designs products for functionality and ease to eliminate the stress of everyday life, announced its partnership with Drew Brees, the New Orleans Saints Quarterback and NFL's all-time passing touchdown leader, to help put an end to the porch pirate epidemic. With an estimated 23 million Americans falling victim to package theft from their front porch, the Parcel LockBox provides reassurance that packages will arrive safely.
A recent addition to Brees' Louisiana home, CleverMade's newest Parcel LockBox protects his family against package theft. Launched in November, the Parcel Lockbox is designed to eliminate package theft and provide an affordable and convenient solution for anyone looking to receive packages in the most secure way possible.
"When I heard the statistic that 1 in 4 Americans have had a package stolen off their porch, that statistic was astounding to me and what that means for families is really saddening," said Brees. "That's why I wanted to partner with CleverMade and put a stop to package theft for good."
Featuring a programmable digital lock where users can create a customizable code to be shared with UPS, USPS, FedEx, and Amazon delivery personnel, along with friends and family members, CleverMade's newest product is easy to use and protects packages at home. The CleverMade Parcel LockBox can be anchored to the ground for added security and also protects your packages from the weather. With the assistance of Brees, CleverMade hopes to inform consumers on how to protect themselves and to reduce the number of stolen packages.
"We are incredibly excited to announce our partnership with Brees," said Tom Quinn, co-founder and CEO of CleverMade. "It goes to show that anyone is susceptible to package theft and having him on our team is huge for us. He's a valuable asset to CleverMade and it's an honor to call him a brand ambassador."
The Parcel LockBox is sold on CleverMade's website, in select major retailers and on Amazon. It is available in two colors and features a 10-year warranty.
