Comprehensive Logistics, Co., Inc. (CLI) strategically expands into the motorcycle industry as Harley-Davidson, Inc.'s (H-D) new third-party logistics service provider in York, Pennsylvania.
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla., Nov. 9, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Comprehensive Logistics, Co., Inc. (CLI) strategically expands into the motorcycle industry as Harley-Davidson, Inc.'s (H-D) new third-party logistics service provider in York, Pennsylvania.
H-D is known to be the most desirable motorcycle company in the world and recently reported strong financial results as they approach their 120th anniversary.
For the York logistics contract, H-D and CLI are partnering together to ramp up production to support the positive projected consumer demand for H-D's legendary motorcycles. According to H-D's selection team, "CLI was selected based on their proprietary technology, commitment to quality, HR engagement and continuous improvement."
The immediate focus is on transitioning current employees in December at H-D's facility on Memory Lane in York, Pennsylvania. With today's labor market challenges, CLI's human resources and operations team are implementing a strategic York-centric recruiting plan that is focused on current employee retention and staffing up in 2023 to add a significant number of jobs in the York, Pennsylvania area. The current and future positions span from leadership roles to sub-assembly process roles and will be staffed through community outreach to York residents. The hourly workforce will be represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 2948.
