Dallas Bike Ride encourages people of all bicycling abilities and all ages (three and up) to participate, making it the perfect opportunity for families to spend an active morning together outside. With bike rentals available, the two-wheeled adventure is open to novices and experts alike. The ride invests in future generations biking in Dallas, so participants can bike for a cause. Dallas Bike Ride benefits BikeTexas and Incarnation House, two non-profits working to create positive change in the city through bicycling.
The Dallas Bike Ride course will include three rest stops with water and snacks, and will feature on-course entertainment in various areas, including the 50-piece L. G. Pinkston High School Marching Band. Dallas-area residents may experience some rolling-road closures the day of the event from 7:45am to 2:00pm. The event is more than a bike ride, it’s also a celebration of life on two wheels with a party at the end. Participants will conclude their journey at the Methodist Dallas Finish Festival, located at the ride start and finish at City Hall Plaza at 1500 Marilla St. The Methodist Dallas Finish Festival will be headlined by DJ Spinderella of Salt-N-Pepa. Festival activities include free bike tune-ups from local bike shops, 1,000 free yoga mats and a yoga session led by Methodist Dallas. A complimentary bike-valet, free books from Dallas Public Library, free snacks from KIND Healthy Snacks, a Health & Wellness Zone presented by Cigna, a Community Bike Village and games and giveaways from our founding partners at Dallas Sports Commission, Visit Dallas, Uptown Dallas, Inc. and Downtown Dallas, Inc. also highlight the day. Ample parking is located near City Hall Plaza - visit dallasbikeride.com/parking for a parking map.
