Cutting Edge Haunted House Kick-Starts Another Horror Filled Halloween Season on September 29
Cutting Edge Haunted House, ranked one of the largest and most terrifying haunted houses in the country, has just opened its doors for the 2018 Halloween season. The inaugural show for the season took place on September 29, and the tickets are up for grabs at Cuttingedgehauntedhouse.com for the remaining shows through the month of October.
DALLAS, Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cutting Edge Haunted House is pleased to announce that their opening show for the upcoming Halloween season 2018 was a great success. Located in Fort Worth, Texas, this haunted house is a multi-themed haunted attraction that has been awarded Guinness Records for both the longest and largest haunted house. The first show for the season was held at 8 p.m. on September 29, and will continue through the month of October before coming to an end on November 3.
Cutting Edge horror house is actually a hundred years old abandoned meat packing plant in a part of Fort Worth that was historically referred to as "Hell's Half Acre." One of the long standing mysteries that haunt the alleys of Hells Half Acre is that of Sally, a dance hall girl who was murdered and her corpse was found nailed to the door of an outhouse. Many old timers claim that the old meat packing plant had experienced many more similar tragedies in the late 1800s when the gun slingers and cowboys from all over the country began coming around for the booming cattle industry and needed a place to unwind.
A remnant of the rough and rowdy days of the past, Cutting Edge Haunted House still whispers the echoes of a time that wasn't too happy. The original meat packing equipment is still operational, but now it is a two-story human processing area. Scary human mannequins are hoisted onto meat hooks, transported up to the second level and then brought through the meat packing process until the conveyor brings the butchered corpses back to the first level.
Cutting Edge Haunted House opened for the first time as a Halloween horror entertainment event in 1991. Since then, they have been coming back every year for the Halloween, offering an interactive event featuring scores of animatronics, highly themed sets, a heart-pounding sound system, a Monster Hearse on 44 inch tires, and an exploding bus. There is also a drum line sending chills racing through the guests as the drummers not only entertain, but also scare the visitors with their intensity.
"Well, we just love Halloween and haunted houses. It's that simple," says Todd James, the owner and founder of Cutting Edge Haunted House. "We begin working on our show in January, and continue all year till we open in September. We're just a bunch of big kids having a blast, and I guess it shows."
This year, depending on the day, the house will open every weekend at 7p.m. or 8 p.m. Tickets to this popular Halloween hotspot can be purchased online with a credit card or at the door with cash only. In addition to individuals tickets for $35 only, lucrative group discounts are available for the purchase of fifteen or more tickets.
