Cybersecurity Leaders Abigail Maines, Stephan Tallent and Ahmed Saleh Join Cybereason to Expand its Endpoint Business With Existing and New Channel Partners, MSSPs, Global System Integrators and Incident Responders
BOSTON, Feb. 23, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Cybereason, the leader in future-ready attack protection, today announced further expansion in North America with the addition of cybersecurity leaders Abigail Maines as Vice President of Commercial and Channel Sales, North America, Stephan Tallent as Vice President of Managed Security Services Providers, North America and Ahmed Saleh as Vice President of Incident Response Services.
"We are thrilled to have Abigail, Stephan and Ahmed join our team of defenders as we continue to expand our mission to end cyber attacks with an operation-centric approach that delivers immediate context into malicious operations across endpoints, users and the cloud. Demand for Cybereason products and services in North America continues to grow rapidly, so it's critical to have a strong leadership team in place to keep pace with our expansion," said Shai Horovitz, Chief Revenue Officer, Cybereason.
Maines brings 20 years of industry experience to Cybereason where she will be working with partners on initiatives that will enhance sales enablement, demand generation and customer acquisitions. She will also be scaling Cybereason's Commercial and SME sales efforts across North America.
Maines was previously at Check Point Software where she ran Channel Sales in North America and was responsible for double-digit increases in bookings. She also launched multiple partner program enhancements and implemented rules of engagement that led to improved predictability for the Partner Community. Prior to that, Maines led the global Business Development team at Cylance that was responsible for the company's most strategic partnerships.
"Abigail, Stephan and Ahmed each bring unique skill sets that will have a profound impact as we continue to meet the need for future-ready security by enhancing partnerships with organizations that are in the battle with defenders everyday," said Eric Appel, General Manager, Senior Vice President, North America Sales, Cybereason. "I look forward to having them strengthen existing relationships and build new ones amongst our Channel Partners, Distribution Entities, MSSPs, Global System Integrators and Incident Responders."
At Cybereason, Tallent will be working to onboard new partners and enable existing partners to grow revenue through partner margin-optimization for the MDR and IR service offerings. He will also be managing the MSSP Partner Program in North America and developing programs to further enable partner revenue growth.
Tallent brings more than 20 years of information security experience to Cybereason, having spent the last 14 years building managed security service practices within several service provider organizations.
While a Senior Director of MSSP at Fortinet, Tallent led service enablement, new partner onboarding, revenue optimization and go-to-market support for MSSP partners. He also developed programs designed to help MSSP partners launch new services, improve operational efficiencies and increase service margins. Prior to Fortinet, Tallent held positions at Masergy and Logix where he led the development of the first hosted services and cybersecurity practice.
At Cybereason, Saleh will drive North American growth by working with partners to develop, enable and deliver Incident Response and Advisory Services powered by the Cybereason Defense Platform.
Saleh is a globally recognized and proven leader with more than 15 years of experience working in technology, incident response, strategy and security risk management. Most recently, Saleh led the Content and Information Security team at Amazon Studios where he addressed evolving threats against sensitive assets. He has a diverse background, having held positions at IBM, The Walt Disney Company, NASA, the U.S. Air Force and Mandiant.
"Cybereason's technology is uniquely suited to enable partner organizations to better defend their customers through contextual correlations that leverage all the necessary intelligence in real time to prevent threats from escalating to the level of a serious breach event. Cybereason is designed to reverse the adversary advantage and empower our partners to defend with efficiency and precision," added Appel.
