SAN DIEGO, April 15, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Attorney Daniel Greene was recently honored with the 2019 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award by the Criminal Defense Bar Association of San Diego. He handles a wide range of felony and misdemeanor cases throughout Southern California, and is highly revered by his clients and colleagues.
Mr. Greene's success record as a San Diego criminal defense attorney is unparalleled. He works exceptionally hard for each and every client, with attention to detail that speaks for itself with his top notch results.
As the senior associate at The Law Offices of Kerry L. Armstrong, APLC, Dan has been practicing for nearly 15 years with successful results on cases that include charges of murder, assault, battery, child molestation, rape, grand theft, embezzlement, fraud, gang-related crimes, juvenile cases, the sale of drugs/narcotics, probation modifications and a wide range of other criminal matters. Previous awards have included the Nation's Top One Percent, 10 Best Client Satisfaction, Best of the Bar, The Daily Transcript's "Top Attorneys" and Super Lawyers.
At the firm, Mr. Greene handles many of the firm's felony criminal cases. He is currently a member of the U.S. Supreme Court Bar, the State Bar of California and the Federal Bars for the Southern and Central Districts of California.
2018 was a banner year for Dan at the trial court level. He earned a not-guilty verdict in a 1st Degree Murder trial where client had been facing 56-years to life in prison. Perhaps more amazing was the all-out acquittal (not-guilty verdicts) of a client facing 165-years to life for 9-counts of child molestation involving allegations by multiple alleged victims.
In addition, Dan worked to achieve outright dismissals by the prosecution before jury trial for a former Sheriff's deputy facing accusations of child molestation (which carried a prescribed punishment of more than 30-years to life) and for a client accused felony evading police. In both of those instances, a judge had bound-over the clients for trial, finding sufficient evidence of guilt at the preliminary hearing stages.
Dan Greene winning the Trial Lawyer of the Year award this year marks the second time a member of the firm has been honored with the prestigious award. Kerry Armstrong also won the award for Trial Lawyer of the Year in 2013!
