Officers reflect a mix of DFW*ATW veterans and accomplished new additions
DALLAS, March 23, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The DFW Alliance of Technology and Women (DFW*ATW), a vital non-profit committed to increasing the number of women in leadership and strengthening the pipeline of girls entering technology fields, has announced its 2023 board of directors, spanning executive officers and committee chairs and co-chairs. Its executive officers include Valerie M. Davis as president, Kavitha Ramesh as vice president, Lorie Medina as secretary, and Anamika Gupta as treasurer.
The executive leaders bring a breadth of experience. Davis is senior patent counsel at Texas Instruments and sits on the board of High-Tech High Heels. Ramesh is an assistant vice president at Mr. Cooper in product strategy and solutions. Medina is founder and CEO of MedinaUSA, and was Frisco's first chief of staff to a mayor. Gupta is senior director, head of customer marketing, at Honeywell Process Solutions. She was named among CIO Look's Most Admired Women Leaders and is a past Dallas Business Journal Women in Business awardee.
Nine committee chairs and co-chairs are entering their first year on the board. Nicole Adair, chair of DFW*ATW's recognition committee, is a senior product manager with CBRE. Jeanie Anirudhan, chair of governance committee, is chief of staff for Pepsico's Information Security Global Cyberfusion Center. Pratibha Aphale, chair of Employee Resource Groups (ERG) committee, is vice president, BISO, at Goldman Sachs. Juana Leonard, chair of programs committee, is director of the Hispanic Serving Institute (HSI) Title V grant for Dallas College. Jigna Vaghela, marketing chair, is senior event manager with AppFolio and board of directors for Kimiya. Hima Cherukuru, co-chair of technology, is a software engineering manager at CapitalOne. Lisa Mehl, co-chair of membership, is senior account executive at Soccour Solutions. Sandy Robinson, co-chair of professional development, is global senior manager and human resources consultant with Thomson Reuters. Madelyn Webster, co-chair of partnership, is channel sales manager at Logix Fiber Networks.
