The decision to transition away from the Wyndham Garden brand is an outgrowth of DKN's desire to provide a more authentic Ventura experience to each guest and a hotel stay distinguished by history, charm, warmth, and the purest elements of local flavor.
Built by famed L.A. architect Sumner P. Hunt in 1910, The Pierpont Inn is a historic craftsman-style hotel featuring 81 charming guestrooms, cottages, and suites. The hotel boasts spectacular views from atop its scenic ocean bluff, beautifully landscaped grounds, and the renowned Austen's Restaurant – the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Ventura County. Over the last 100+ years, the hotel has been host to reunions, weddings, and other special events, often spanning generations of local area residents.
