Dr. Juliet Gibson is a native of Los Angeles. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Stanford University before obtaining her medical degree at Yale University, where she met her Texas native husband. At Yale, she completed a pre-doctoral research fellowship in cutaneous oncology. Dr. Gibson completed her intern year at Harvard's Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center before starting her dermatology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Dr. Gibson has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in journals and medical textbooks including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery. She has presented at international, national, and regional dermatology conferences and received the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery Cutting Edge Research Grant for her research into the safety of cosmetic procedures at medical spas.
"I love the long-term connections I form with patients who have skin diseases or those who want to fight the aging process with quick 'tune-ups,'" says Dr. Gibson. Her professional interests include the detection and management of skin cancers, the treatment of acne, psoriasis, and hair loss, and cosmetic treatments including neuromodulators (e.g, Botox), dermal fillers and lasers.
Dr. Gibson and her husband, who is an attorney and Navy veteran, reside in North Dallas with their two dogs. Her personal interests include cooking, spinning, practicing yoga, walking with her husband, and watching bad television.
