Elertus™ Helps Homeowners Prevent Flooding with New Water Leak Detector
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) May 13, 2014 -- Elertus, a specialist in wireless monitoring technology, has released its newest product, the Elertus Water Leak Detector. The new water detector is a simple, affordable solution allowing users to receive real-time alerts through smartphone notifications, text messages and emails, helping prevent floods and minimize water damage.
“Even small water leaks can be catastrophic,” said Kirk Matheson, Product Manager at Elertus. “Just over a year ago my family returned from a vacation to find our home completely flooded. We only recently finished getting our home back to normal from over $100,000 in damages. We developed the Elertus Water Leak Detector to provide alerts as soon leaks start and avoid disasters like the one my family experienced.”
In addition to water leaks, the Elertus Water Leak Detector also monitors and sends alerts for:
• Temperature
• Humidity
• Light
• Movement
• Battery Life
Elertus is also releasing a new dry/wet temperature probe at the end of May that is compatible with the Elertus Smart Sensor and Elertus Water Leak Detector and used to monitor temperature in various liquid and solid environments, such as aquariums, soil and fridges/freezers.
A new software update to the Elertus Smartphone and Web Apps allows users to manage multiple Elertus devices with only one account. Users easily navigate between devices through a simple dropdown menu.
“Customer feedback drove these latest updates, resulting in products that better meet our customers’ most pressing needs,” said Kent Hansen, President of Elertus. “Capturing and using customer and potential customer feedback means better, more innovative products providing peace of mind and making already busy lives even easier.”
The Elertus Water Leak Detector is now available for $199 through authorized Elertus resellers listed at the Elertus website (http://www.elertus.com/water).
