EV Connect Appoints Scott Jarus as Its Chief Executive Officer
Los Angeles (PRWEB) June 26, 2014 -- EV Connect™, the turn-key solutions provider of managed services and creator of the industry’s most innovative management software for commercial and governmental electric vehicle (EV) charging station infrastructure, announced that Scott Jarus has been appointed as the Company’s new Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Jarus is also an investor and member of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Jarus was most recently the Chairman and CEO of Ironclad Performance Wear, a microcap public company which grew 90% and became sustainably profitable during his tenure. Prior to Ironclad, he was CEO of Cognition Technologies, a software company which was sold to Nuance Communications for a significant return to shareholders. Mr. Jarus’ most successful recent outcome was as chief executive at j2 Global Communications, known for its eFax™ service. During his tenure, the company achieved 15 consecutive quarters of revenue growth, 13 consecutive quarters of positive and growing earnings, and a market cap which grew from $27 million to $1 billion.
“We are very fortunate to have Scott join the Company as CEO,” said Jordan Ramer, EV Connect’s Founder and President. “His experience in recognizing new opportunities, rapidly-growing companies, and significantly increasing shareholder value are the skills that EV Connect needs to accelerate its growth and remain a dominant presence in this evolving market.”
“The opportunities for EV Connect are large and transformative, particularly when the Company’s innovative and feature-rich open platform manages multiple charge station brands,” said Scott Jarus. “As the electric vehicle industry as a whole, evolves and grows, the unique capabilities of companies, like EV Connect, to shape the marketplace are enormous. Personally, this opportunity reminds me of the revolutionary changes caused by the dramatic technology and services evolution of the telecommunication industry, which I had a long history in.”
