DALLAS, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Everest's comprehensive physical rehabilitation hospital will be constructed on 4.32 acres, just north of Fort Worth, TX in Tarrant County at 955 S. Main Street (U.S. Hwy 377, Keller, TX). The hospital site sits on a highly visible, newly widened road with over 37,000 cars passing daily. The city approvals and plans are complete, and the construction is scheduled for completion in 14 months. Among the amenities, the 40,000 square foot hospital includes 36 private patient bedrooms and bathrooms designed like a luxury hotel versus a typical hospital. All Everest Rehabilitation facilities are identical and pre-designed for the expansion capability of additional private patient bedrooms as the market dictates.
The hospital includes modern, spacious, state-of-the-art equipped inpatient and outpatient gyms, an outdoor mobility courtyard for therapeutic use, aqua therapy, a fully furnished training apartment with kitchen and bathroom, several family gathering areas, an open dining hall and patio, in-house dialysis and an in-house pharmacy. The hospital will serve patients recovering from injuries and illness or living with disabilities and chronic medical conditions. Customized rehabilitation services are tailored to the individual needs of patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation and orthopedic injury.
Everest's $23 million-dollar rehabilitation hospital project will create over 100 jobs and provide for an $8 million-dollar a year payroll to the community. "We are extremely excited to be a part of the Keller, N. Ft. Worth, N. Richland Hills, Trophy Club, Southlake, Saginaw and Roanoke communities. We have been looking for a site to build one of our rehabilitation hospitals in this fast-growing community for two years. We could not be happier with our centrally located, physician /patient friendly location in Keller, TX. We firmly believe that patients thrive exponentially when their environment and their care far exceed their expectations. The level of care in our acute rehabilitation hospital setting cannot be provided at other levels of care such as skilled nursing facilities (SNF). The average length of stay at a comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation hospital is one-third of a typical stay at a skilled nursing facility." Jay Quintana, Everest Rehabilitation's CEO said. "We provide one to one therapy, five to seven days a week, daily medical visits by rehab physicians and a strong nurse to patient ratio that contributes to optimal outcomes and the highest quality of care."
Everest Rehabilitation Hospital Keller will feature a comprehensive and interdisciplinary physician-led team of rehabilitation therapists focused on increasing patient strength and endurance and improving quality of life in a modern, naturally lit setting. The hospital's therapy programs provide for around the clock registered nursing care to patients overcoming a stroke, brain injury, neurological deficits, orthopedic conditions, pulmonary disease, spinal cord injury, amputations and other medically complex conditions.
