Evidence In Motion Network Partner Graduates Six Therapists From EIM Programs
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) February 14, 2014 -- Evidence in Motion (EIM) is proud to announce that network partner Baton Rouge Physical Therapy- Lake (BRPT-Lake) celebrated their 50th anniversary and graduated six staff members from EIM’s Manual Physical Therapy Certification and Postprofessional Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs in 2013.
Seth Kaplan, PT, DPT, MHA, OCS, President and CEO of BRPT-Lake, graduated from EIM’s Executive Program in Private Practice Management in 2010. In his 24 years at BRPT-Lake, Dr. Kaplan has found that educating the practice’s physical and occupational therapists is the key to continuously providing their patients with the care they’ve come to expect.
“We feel that having board-certified specialists on our staff shows a commitment to providing our patients with the highest level of care possible,” said Dr. Kaplan. “It’s incredibly important to us that we keep educating ourselves on the best ways to get our patients better faster and more effectively. We’re extremely grateful for the 50 wonderful years we’ve had with our patients and are looking forward to providing them with exceptional care for many more years to come.”
Upon completing the Executive Program in Private Practice Management, Dr. Kaplan encouraged his staff to further their educations by attending an EIM program of their choosing. Four BRPT-Lake therapists, Michelle Landry, PT, DPT, Emily Hymel, PT, DPT, Luke Zumo, PT, DPT, and Greg LeBlanc, PT, DPT, OCS, graduated from the Manual Physical Therapy Certification course in 2013. Paul Melancon, PT, DPT, OCS, and Tom Weber, PT, DPT, OCS completed the Postprofessional DPT in 2013.
EIM’s Manual Physical Therapy Certification and Postprofessional DPT are taught by world-class faculty from a variety of the best academic programs and clinical practices in the country. The courses consist of a combination of didactic, collaborative, and clinical education experiences designed to teach physical therapists to become certified, highly skilled, autonomous practitioners with advanced clinical competency.
