Exchange Physical Therapy Group's Jaclyn Fulop Appointed by Governor & Senate to the State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners; EPTG to Open 3rd Location in Hoboken

JERSEY CITY, N.J., July 1, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Exchange Physical Therapy Group is proud to announce that co-founder and co-owner, Jaclyn Fulop, MSPT, was appointed this month to the New Jersey Board of Physical Therapy Examiners by Governor Murphy and the New Jersey Senate.  Mrs. Fulop will serve a three-year term on the prestigious, advisory and licensing board for the NJ physical therapy profession. The NJ Board of Physical Therapy Examiners licenses and regulates the field of physical therapy, for physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Duties of the board include writing regulations, interpreting the scope of practice, educating licensees, and disciplining those who violate the law.

Mrs. Fulop is a proud local, small business owner employing 25 employees with 90 percent of the company being female employees. Later this year, Exchange Physical Therapy Group will open its fourth location and second Jersey City office.

In 2018, Jaclyn Fulop and the Exchange Physical Therapy Group helped raise over $130,000 for Liberty Humane Society to launch the first, low-cost mobile spay/neuter program for Hudson County. Jaclyn Fulop serves on the board of the non-profit Liberty Humane Society and is a member of the development committee. Mrs. Fulop is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce.

Jaclyn Fulop graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nutrition, Food and Exercise Science and a Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University in Tallahassee, Florida. She has been recognized as one of the top New Jersey physical therapists.
