DENVER, Aug. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Ratio Beerworks, a celebrated microbrewery and local hotspot in Denver's trendy Downtown, recently provided the venue for an event held to benefit Freedom Service Dogs. The gathering of oil and gas industry professionals was hosted by Noel Wickwar and his affiliates at Morgan Stanley, and Ferrari Energy was there to support the cause.
Freedom Service Dogs changes the lives of homeless pets and individuals with disabilities forever by helping these vulnerable populations help each other. The Englewood-based not-for-profit has attracted nationwide attention and even a celebrity partner through the Rachel Ray Foundation for its work with rescue dogs and people living with disabilities. Freedom Service Dogs rescues homeless animals from shelters and custom trains them to help people in need. Over the past thirty years, freedom Service Dogs has helped improve the lives of innumerable children, veterans, active duty military, and others with disabilities, but it relies on charitable support to keep its doors open.
Members of the Ferrari Energy team were at the Ratio Beerworks event on August 2, enjoying the Oil and Gas social event and learning more about Freedom Service Dogs' important work. To support the nonprofit organization, Ferrari Energy made a donation that will help Freedom Service Dogs rescue and train even more lifelong helpers and companions for individuals with disabilities. However, Freedom Service Dogs could always use more support. Every dog that Freedom Service Dogs rescues, feeds, trains, and houses costs the organization $25,000, and they receive no support from government grants. If you want to help Freedom Service Dogs, the dogs especially love Zukes and Tricky Trainers brand dog treats, and trainers are always needing more six-foot-long leashes. But there are several ways that you can join the Freedom Service Dogs community of supporters - to learn more about what you can do to help Freedom Service Dogs, visit https://freedomservicedogs.org/donate/.
