festivalPass (https://festivalpass.com/), the world's first festival and live events subscription marketplace, today announced the launch of festivalPass Stories (https://festivalpass.com/stories), a new weekly podcast series that goes behind the scenes of the world's greatest live events.
FestivalPass Stories will be hosted by renowned benefit auctioneer and master of ceremony, Pat Tully. Interviewees at launch include Justin Kantor, owner of (Le) Poisson Rouge, the iconic NYC live events venue, Stephen Sternschein, owner of Empire Control Room & Garage in Austin, TX and Founder of Heard Presents, Jacob Trouba, professional ice hockey defenseman for the NY Rangers and Brett Friedman, CEO of Agency 21, the event creators behind dozens of epicurean events including Cochon555 and Whiskey's of the World. Guests will discuss behind the scenes event stories, what their role in the "show" is and how an idea went from what if to what's next.
With each episode of FestivalPass Stories (FPS) listeners can experience "Life. Lived. Live.", and hear the 'why' behind their favorite music, film, food, theater and sporting events - past, present and future. Each week, Tully will take listeners behind-the-scenes and explore the colorful stories from festival founders, event producers, venue owners, artists and entertainers, talent managers and crew members who make live events possible.
By providing music talent, culinary stars, professional athletes, master distillers, and festival producers and promoters with a comfortable forum to speak about their experiences and lessons learned, festivalPass will also give the live event industry a public forum in which to inspire ideas, tell epic untold stores, and discuss challenges facing the live events & music business. In the immediate future, the podcasts will address the live events business and its future as it navigates the post-COVID phase. If there's a live event/festival for everything, then there's a story to every festival/event and FPS delivers them to you, so you can Live. Life. Live.
"Our goal is to provide our listeners with a behind the scenes peek into some of the untold stories that brought a venue, event, artist, athlete or community to life. Stories told from the influencers and creators themselves," said Ed Vincent, Founder and CEO, festivalPass. "Pat is knowledgeable, funny and curious by nature providing substantive, entertaining and probing questions unlocking the real stories creators want to share. Every episode will be 30-45 minutes of laughs, smiles and enlightenment. His voice has been the backdrop to my life for over 25 years and I am happy to share his talents with our listeners."
"As festivalPass seeks to deliver a unique model and approach to building community in the live events industry, I am excited to bring their audio strategy to life with the launch of 'festivalPass Stories," added Tully. "And, having spent a career in the live events industry, it's a thrill to share their meaningful content with the podcast world to bring further awareness of festivalPass to millions of listeners."
For more than twenty years Pat Tully has hosted more than 1000 corporate events and non-profit fundraisers, interviewing some of the country's most influential business and thought leaders, professional athletes and entertainers.
