Five New Rockler Products Win Industry Recognition for Innovation

Rockler's Router Bit Center/Depth Gauge, Portable Drill Guide with Vise, Precision Miter Gauge and Miter Gauge Fence all received Pro Tool Innovation Awards, which are presented annually to recognize the most innovative products in the construction and outdoor power equipment industries. A panel of judges made up of contractors, construction business owners, tradespeople and trade media professionals from across the United States evaluated more than 320 entries from 78 manufacturers for this year's awards. Judges were looking for innovative features, advanced power delivery, groundbreaking ergonomics, technological advancements and value.

The Rockler Router Bit Center/Depth Gauge, which helps users achieve pinpoint accuracy in common router setup operations more quickly and easily, won award in the Cutting & Routing section of the Accessories category. PTIA judges said that it eliminates guesswork and speeds the setup process. "For veterans, it's a timesaver, and for newbies, it sends a lot less material to the scrap pile," they wrote.

Rockler's Portable Drill Guide with Self-Centering Vise won in the Drill/Driver Attachments section of the Accessories category. PTIA judges said it is "a big step up from other drill guides we've seen" and highlighted its robust construction. "When you're trying to be precise in your drilling, you need a stable platform," they said. "Many guides are just too flimsy. Rockler's more substantial build quality helps take care of that." They also noted the smooth-spinning chuck and the extended 60-degree angle capacity.

Rockler's Precision Miter Gauge and Miter Gauge Fence both won awards in the Table Saw Accessories section of the Accessories category.
