FREDERICK, Md., April 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Five local organizations are uniting to say 'thank you' to Frederick, MD first responders by hosting the Frontline Hero Happy Hour on Tuesday, April 28th. Through this special event, first responders such as healthcare professionals, EMTs, firefighters and police will be given a meal and beverage package as a thank you for their continued hard work during our national health crisis.
"We owe our first responders an immense debt of gratitude, the least we can do is provide them with good food and good beer at the end of their shift," said James Maravetz, VP of Marketing at Flying Dog Brewery. "We are excited to work with other local businesses to say thank you."
The five organizations behind the event – 1st Amendment Society, Flying Dog Brewery, McCutcheon's Apple Products, Premium Distributors of Maryland and Roasthouse Pub – will provide local heroes with a meal from Roasthouse Pub, a 6-pack of craft beer from Flying Dog Brewery and a jar of apple butter from McCutcheon's Apple Products.

On Tuesday, April 28th, Frederick-area first responders are invited visit Roasthouse Pub's food truck which will be stationed in the College Park Plaza Shopping Center (927 W 7th Street, Frederick, MD) parking lot in two shifts from 7 AM – 2 PM and 4 PM - 8 PM. All attendees will be required to show ID verifying their place of employment. In order to provide appropriate safety measures, all frontline heroes are being asked to stay in their cars when picking up their meal and beer.
