NEW YORK, Oct. 18, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Girls Inc. welcomes four new members to its National Board of Directors: Alex Calicchia, Courtney Naudo, Stephanie Savage, and Dr. Adriane Johnson-Williams. These officers will support the leadership and governance of the organization, and serve as active advocates and ambassadors to equip Girls Inc. to advance its mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, through direct service and advocacy.

Alex Calicchia is President & CEO of Hive Partners and brings 30 years of executive experience in the financial services sector and a strong strategic planning and program management discipline to his work at HIVE. Alex has worked with a variety of clients across multiple sectors including oil & gas, healthcare, financial services and various nonprofits. He is currently Chair of the Board of Directors for Girls Inc. of Greater Houston.
Courtney N. Naudo is Vice President, Walmart International, and currently serves as the company's Strategic Development and Portfolio Management leader. Prior to this role, she was the VP of International Technology. Courtney has been involved with many leadership programs and nonprofit organizations throughout her career, with particular emphasis on creating an equitable environment for all youth to succeed.
Stephanie Savage
Stephanie Savage is a television and feature film writer/producer and co-founder of Fake Empire, an entertainment production company. Savage's credits include "The O.C.," "Gossip Girl," "Marvel's Runaways," "Nancy Drew" and the current iteration of "Dynasty," plus limited series including "Looking for Alaska," and "Astronaut Wives Club." She currently has three series on air, and is developing additional television series for AppleTV+, HBO Max, Paramount+ and the CW.
Dr. Adriane Johnson-Williams
Dr. Adriane Johnson-Williams is Founder and Principal at Standpoint Consulting. She is
dedicated to improving the lives of black and brown people in her hometown of Memphis and across the nation. An alumna of Girls Inc. of Memphis, Adriane was named a 2021 Super Woman in Business by the Memphis Business Journal and 2020 Woman of the Year by Girls Inc. of Memphis. Adriane will serve as Girls Inc.'s inaugural President of the National Alumnae Association.
Girls Inc. is poised to increase the number of girls who participate, and the organization is strengthening its advocacy efforts in support of equitable opportunities for all girls. Recently, Girls Inc. was awarded $10M as part of the Equality Can't Wait Challenge, hosted by Pivotal Ventures, MacKenzie Scott and Dan Jewett, and Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Philanthropies, which calls for bold ideas to expand women's power and influence in the U.S. by 2030.
