According to the Secured Finance Network, the annual award celebrates the achievements of those in the secured finance industry who contribute to their communities and the industry as a whole. Honorees are selected by a group of 10 industry leaders who serve as judges.
Sellinger was nominated by Richard C. Kim, co-chair of the firm's Global Finance Practice and the New York Corporate Practice, for his strong client service and "his skill at distilling complex commercial issues and willingness to give strong direction."
Sellinger maintains a high-volume finance practice focused on representing borrowers, private equity sponsors, and their portfolio companies, banks and direct lenders, lead arrangers, and other financing sources in connection with syndicated and bilateral loan financings. He has been a member of the LSTA and SIFMA Compliance & Law Society where he teaches and mentors younger attorneys and business colleagues. In addition, Sellinger served as a leader of Fordham Law School's Recent Graduates' Committee and his class reunion committee.
