Happiness Event in Williamsburg, Brooklyn Raises $30K
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- Y55: Happiness Trainer, a soon to be released first of its kind happiness training mobile platform that enables users to follow their personal profile with a weekly program, received its campaign debut at an end of summer mixed crowd gathering of several hundreds of families, young couples, and hipsters in their late 20s and early 30s in one of the most diverse and technologically-savvy neighborhoods across America: Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Y55’s “Happy Together” event was a free community event launched as part of Y55’s current fundraising campaign, raising awareness for the app’s forthcoming availability. Y55 is based on scientifically proven principles - taken to the next generation of shared social networks - with an innovative, collaborative community approach helping users to better understand the issues and challenges they are facing and help them run a course toward a happier life.
Through interactive games, videos, music, and quizzes, participants experienced the mechanics of happiness, what really makes us happy, why we’re unable to stay happy, and how our environment plays a key role in shaping a happier society. Y55’s own Happiness Entrepreneurial team introduced the Happiness Trainer app, giving the audience tips and tricks on building a fitting environment and securing the social connections that are at the foundation of happiness.
Participants played games that emphasized various aspects of the true state of happiness, and were able to share openly their thoughts and experiences at round table discussions on McCarren’s North Lawn. The event ended with a performance by the talented New York musician, Seth Breitman (http://www.sethbreitman.com/), and an outdoor screening of the documentary “Crossroads: Labor Pains of a New Worldview”, a documentary exploring the depths of the current human condition and the emergence of a worldview that is recreating our world from the inside out (http://crossroadsfilm.com).
Eran Shayovitch, Y55: Happiness Trainer Co-Founder commented, “We’re very excited to have an opportunity to connect with everyone here even before we’ve launched the platform. We believe this and other pre-emptive events will lead to the huge traction and potential of the success of Y55, ultimately helping to eradicate the world’s #1 disease – depression”.
