Hatcher Law Group Attorneys Receive the 2019 Commitment to Justice Award from Safe Alliance
Hatcher Law Group Partner Paul A. DeJesse, Jr., and Family Law Attorney Alexandria P. K. Carini, were honored by Safe Alliance as selected recipients of the 2019 Commitment to Justice Award. This award was presented in honor and recognition of the pro bono legal representation they have provided to local victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Charlotte community.

Carini, were honored by Safe Alliance as selected recipients of the 2019 Commitment to Justice Award. This award was presented in honor and recognition of the pro bono legal representation they have provided to local victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Charlotte community.
In a complex legal system, strong legal representation and court advocacy are essential components of safety plans for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors. Each year, Safe Alliance assists more than 10,000 people in Mecklenburg County and the Lake Norman area. The annual Safe Alliance Pro Bono Awards recognize attorneys and firms in these areas that have made outstanding contributions to its Victim Assistance/Legal Representation Program (VA/LRP) throughout the course of the year.
With the assistance of Safe Alliance, DeJesse and Carini have provided victims with legal representation in securing legal protection following an attack or threat. In many cases, protection for victims comes in the form of a one-year Domestic Violence Protection Order (DVPO) and custody of any minor children.
