New Higher Ambition Leadership Alliance Board member Dr. Connie Hadley studies team effectiveness and employee well-being.
BOSTON, Feb. 7, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Higher Ambition Leadership Alliance today announces the organization's newest board member, Constance Noonan Hadley, Ph.D. Dr. Hadley is an organizational psychologist and founder of the Institute for Life at Work, a research laboratory and think tank. She also serves as a lecturer at Boston University's Questrom School of Business and a consulting researcher at Microsoft Research Lab. Her research and consulting on workplace culture, team effectiveness, and employee well-being aligns with the Alliance's focus on leadership practice and organizational performance.
Alliance Board Chair Douglas Conant says, "From her research and extensive direct work with organizations, Connie brings a deep understanding of the intersection of human psychology and organizational behavior. Like the Alliance, she studies the real-world challenges and practices inside high-performing companies to help other companies be more effective. The Institute for Life at Work studies and identifies the best practices and insights that will help employees live better lives at work and help their organizations thrive. With collaborators from around the world, Dr. Hadley researches the future of work, team dynamics, psychological safety, employee loneliness, burnout, well-being at work, and inclusive cultures.

Dr. Hadley holds a Ph.D. in organizational behavior from Harvard University, an MBA in human resource and strategic management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a BA in social psychology from Princeton University. Previously, she worked with McKinsey & Company and at General Mills, Inc. Dr. Hadley sits on the Board of Trustees at McLean Hospital, a leader in behavioral and mental health.
