SALT LAKE CITY, Jan. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Hope Of A Billion Foundation (HOAB), founded in 2022 by Ghana's first skeleton Olympian and On athlete Akwasi Frimpong, along with his wife Erica Frimpong, is excited to announce a partnership with On's social impact program, Right To Run. This collaboration aims to encourage, engage, and empower a billion lives in underserved communities through the transformative power of sport, business, and educational opportunities.
Right To Run is On's dynamic social impact initiative that amplifies the efforts of organizations worldwide, all committed to making a difference within the movement space. Through Right To Run, On champions the belief that everyone has the right to run and move freely.
Since its inception, HOAB has positively impacted nearly 3,000 children aged 6-16 in Ghana, South Africa, and the USA through its Power of Resilience program. With On's support, HOAB reached an incredible 1,320 children in 2024 alone. This number is set to increase significantly, as HOAB has already been approached by 30 schools to work with over 18,000 kids in 2025.
HOAB understands that hope and motivation are essential for self-actualization. By fostering a nurturing environment through sports-inspired mentorship and essential skills development, HOAB empowers youth to harness their inherent potential, realize their dreams, and emerge as transformative leaders within their communities.
Akwasi Frimpong, an On athlete since 2021, embodies the company's motto of "Dream On." Together with Right To Run, he and Erica are committed to dreaming alongside the children they impact globally, guiding them to become the leaders of tomorrow.
"We are excited to take this important step forward," said Navalayo Osembo, On's Head of Africa. "Together, we can inspire the next generation to rise and thrive in their communities."
