AHA Press Releases New Format for Popular Coding Handbook
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 12, 2014 -- The 2014 ICD-10CM and ICD-10-PCS Coding Handbook, an expert resource for coder training, is now available in an eBook format. The Handbook is designed to help train coders to improve their coding accuracy and make the transition from ICD-9 coding to ICD-10 coding easier to understand and execute.
The Handbook is written by Nelly Leon-Chisen, RHIA, director of Coding and Classification at the American Hospital Association and editor of AHA Coding Clinic® for ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS, the quarterly publication of coding advice and guidelines.
The 2014 Handbook contains more than 260 case-summary exercises, as well as 100-plus in-chapter exercises and review questions. Its content reflects the latest official coding guidelines and is available in two editions - with and without answers. As in previous editions, the Handbook follows the easy-to-use format and style established by Faye Brown, the author of the ICD-9-CM Coding Handbook.
Readers of the eBook can search by code, topic or index. The eBook format allows readers to bookmark, add notes and print individual pages, as desired, for exercise completion or personal reference.
The eBook editions are available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, and MS Windows. Detailed information can be found at http://www.HealthForum.com/AHApress.
