SCHAUMBURG, Ill., June 7, 2022 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Schaumburg, Illinois-based law firm of Gardi, Haught, Fischer & Bhosale Ltd. has donated $5,000 to Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) to provide 20,833 meals to needy youngsters worldwide. Several of the firm's attorneys went to FMSC's Schaumburg facility to give the donation.
Members of the law firm became aware of the nonprofit's mission through friends and family and the positive impact that the organization has been making on a global level. Also, the mission of helping children in need across the globe is one that is important to the firm, said partner Ann Fischer.
The law firm was impressed by the number of meals FMSC can produce from a single donation. According to its website, the organization has sent more than 3 billion meals to 108 countries since March 2009. In 2021-2022 alone, FMSC fed 1,091,787 kids. FMSC is based in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and has operations worldwide, including food-packing facilities in Aurora, Libertyville and Schaumburg, Illinois.
