Social Security Administration Awards Technology Specialists Million Dollar Contract
Washington, DC (PRWEB) November 05, 2013 -- The Social Security Administration (SSA) has recently awarded Technology Specialists, Inc. (TSI), a leader government IT solutions, a $1.18 million contract to provide a session and packet capture solution. The solution is to be used as an Agency security monitoring platform and will enable the Agency to analyze user and system sessions in an effort to better protect network services available to its users.

The solution provides many benefits including forensic-oriented efforts by allowing session replay, geographical user interface accessibility of raw data flows, and configurable alerting of pertinent violations to security and use policies.
In meeting the SSA’s goals and objectives, TSI carefully assessed both the requirements and the characteristics of the solution and services required, and have tailored and incorporated techniques which have proven successful elsewhere. TSI will design, implement and configure the hardware and software for the packet and session network infrastructure solutions in three phases to provide the ongoing operations and management support for the system.
