The beautifully illustrated volume follows two best friends as they journey through the seasons of the year, sharing their trials, wisdom, and several cups of tea along the way.
Inspired by Buddhist philosophy, spirituality, and art, James' illustrations and words initially hit a wide audience online through his Instagram platform, earning more than 120,000 followers since first appearing in July 2020. They have even found their way to the Dalai Lama's monastery in India, where young monks have used them to practice their English skills. On March 11th, 2021, actress and podcaster Kristen Bell shared an image with the quote, "'Which is more important,' asked Big Panda, 'the journey or the destination?' 'The company,' said Tiny Dragon," which earned more than 200,000 likes.
