Dr. Krivopal brings over 20 years of consulting and provider experience to Chartis.
Dr. Krivopal has deep experience with and expertise in the development, leadership and optimization of hospital medicine programs and other hospital-based services. His extensive experience also includes value-based clinical and care management programs, coverage models, transformational system integration strategies, service-line optimization, patient access and throughput, and clinical leadership development. Dr. Krivopal has also transitioned a large provider organization to value-based care and overseen the operations of a multi-state hospital-based clinical service line. His physician executive experience began when he co-founded and then led Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare Hospitalist Services, spanning several acute care facilities.

Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Dr. Krivopal was Vice President at the General Electric Healthcare Camden Group, where he served as a consultant in various areas of clinical and operational performance improvement. He was also with Kyruus, Inc., where he served as Vice President of Clinical Programs. In this role, he established clinician engagement and alignment strategies leading to the successful deployment and adoption of healthcare information technology products focused on patient access at client sites.
Dr. Krivopal earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed his residency training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School. He also received a Master of Business Administration with honors from Babson College, F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
