MIAMI, Nov. 5, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With American eco and dental tourism to Costa Rica booming, the time has never been better to get the dental work you've always wanted done while enjoying one of the most scenic destinations in the world. In partnership with Hotel Presidente and tourist attractions in San Jose, Costa Rica - Meza Dental, a premier Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry Center for dental tourism, has created exclusive dental packages for patients seeking a new smile and wanting to celebrate the occasion with a vacation.
Dental tourism is for those individuals seeking dental care outside their local healthcare systems and is usually accompanied by a vacation. According to Patients Without Borders, a trusted resource in medical travel, dental tourism accounted for nearly half of all medical travel last year. Approximately 800,000 Americans left the U.S. (mostly to Mexico and Costa Rica) for dental care. Meza Dental patients can save up to 30 – 60 percent on many of these procedures.
Based in Costa Rica, Meza Dental provides patients from around the world with new healthy smiles with high quality dental care, through a personalized dental experience done by U.S. educated and trained dentists with world-class credentials at a reasonable price. The team of doctors are trained and accredited by prestigious American universities and institutions including the University of Los Angeles (UCLA), and the Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE)/Loma Linda University and follow the guidelines set by The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
"We created these packages for patients to have an exceptional dental experience while taking advantage of the many things Costa Rica has to offer," said Dr. Alberto Meza, founder and principal of Meza Dental. "Each package is carefully curated depending on the procedure of the patient, so it won't affect their stay and itinerary to explore our beautiful country."
The dental packages, that start at $5,900, have been designed depending on the treatment each patient will receive and the appropriate activities their treatment will permit. Every package is subject to approval based on the doctor's diagnosis.
Each package includes a stay at Hotel Presidente, situated in the heart of downtown San Jose, the hotel is walking distance from many of the city's best museums and galleries, public parks, shops, restaurants and bars. In addition to the hotel stay, packages may include one of the following:
