Success of CNBC’s “Shark Tank Tuesdays” Inspires Miami Entrepreneurs Group to Host Its Own Shark Tank and Offer Thousands in Rewards for Winners
Miami, FL (PRWEB) February 11, 2014 -- The leading Miami entrepreneurs group, Renegade South Florida Entrepreneurs (RSFE), is set to host its first-ever “Shark Tank,” offering its members the opportunity to present their business model in exchange for thousands of dollars in free consulting, direct-mail, PR services and training programs. The event will be held on February 27, from 3-6 p.m., in Hollywood, Fla., and registration is now available through http://www.nobsmiami.com/event.
The New York Post announced Monday that since CNBC’s acquisition of ABC’s “Shark Tank” reruns, the network has garnered its largest prime-time audience (596,000 viewers) in five years. “This show’s success is driven by the millions of entrepreneurs out there pursuing the classic American dream,” said Andrew Cass, direct marketing expert and RSFE chapter director. “We want to build on that hype by bringing opportunity to Miami’s thirsty entrepreneurs, offering them the chance to pitch their business model and get ‘sharks’ on board to help them.”
RSFE’s ‘Shark Tank’ will consist of a panel of ‘Sharks’, formed by Andrew Cass himself, along with other four Chapter's strategic partners and Advisory Board members - all savvy business owners. However, instead of investing money, the ‘Sharks’ will offer the contestants in the ‘Tank’ great value in the form of services, training and consulting, designed to catapult their success.
Cass guarantees this will be an incredible learning experience for business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs who want to discover how to position and grow a business. “If we like what we see, we will invest our resources in the businesses,” Cass explained. “It’s important for us to give meriting Miami entrepreneurs the boost they need.”
Winners of RSFE’s Shark Tank may walk away with thousands of dollars in consulting, public relations, direct mail and training services. Cass said he hopes members and guests will gain a better understanding of the dynamics adopted by some of the most successful members, and witness what a mature business model looks like.
First-time guests are invited to join other entrepreneurs at the RSFE ‘Shark Tank,’ free of charge. They are also encouraged to attend a brief introductory meeting, at 2 p.m., and can qualify to receive up to $1,000 in free business-building gifts and resources.
