Minol USA Releases COVID-19 Update
Minol USA is Operational with Safety and Health Remaining Top Priority
ADDISON, Texas, March 27, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is now felt worldwide, we want to assure our customers and partners that we are still here to support you. Minol's operations remain open with regular operating hours.
Minol's number one priority is following all recommended Federal, local government and CDC guidelines to keep our employees, clients, partners and their families safe and healthy.
Our management team continues to closely monitor all the developments as new recommendations are released.
"The entire world is suddenly facing a new normal that was unimaginable just a few months ago. As a national service provider and supplier, we are truly fortunate to be able to keep our business operational during this challenging time. We successfully implemented our business continuity plans that were developed over many years for situations similar to what we are facing now. Similar to many other business and government operations, we hoped that these plans would never need to be implemented; however, as we find ourselves in this new norm, we must respond with quickness and due diligence as much as possible. On March 11, 2020, we began implementation of our business continuity plans, providing a program for our employees to work remote from home.
By utilizing our existing technology, the phenomenal support of our in-house technology professionals combined with the exceptional engagement of all of Minol's wonderful employees, we were able to successfully deploy 95% of our workforce remotely in a very short period of time. This enabled Minol to continue operations without interruption. Our customers and partners will be able to continue to call the same call center and support phone numbers just as before and be seamlessly connected with our team members in their remote office locations. We wish our customers, employees, partners, their families, and people all around the world, to stay safe and healthy," said Wilmar Basson, President of Minol USA.
New Construction Sub-metering Clients: We are following all local and state recommendations for the safety of our technicians and your team. At this time, our sub-metering installation program is fully-operational. For cities impacted due to the closing of construction sites, our team will remain in close contact to ensure once restrictions are lifted, we are quickly able to assist in helping get your project to completion.
Sub-metering Clients: For the safety of our technicians and your residents, we are temporarily suspending all service that requires entry into occupied homes.
Utility Billing and Energy Management Clients: Our Billing and Client Relations Teams are continuing to generate bills on time and provide your onsite team with any assistance they may need without disruption.
Conservation Clients: For the safety of our technicians and your residents, we are temporarily suspending all conservation installations as they require entry into occupied homes.
We encourage our multifamily clients to follow the National Multihousing Council's Preparedness for Apartment Firms resource center to help navigate this unprecedented scenario. We are here for you. Let's all stay connected as we work through this together.
