Paired with four hot swappable modules and custom software, Naya Create plans to unleash productivity and creativity for 21st century digital creators
GRONINGEN, Netherlands, May 30, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Today Naya announced that their crowdfunding campaign for Naya Create, an innovative workspace solution for 21st century digital creators, was fully funded in under five minutes, and has now surpassed $500K USD. Designed to break bottlenecks and enhance productivity, the workplace solution (which is currently in development), combines an ergonomic split mechanical keyboard with a selection of hot swappable modules and custom software that enables users to fully customize their workflow. It is available starting at the early bird price of $429 USD on Kickstarter.
In recognition of the rapidly evolving digital landscape, demanding multidisciplinary skills and adaptability from creators, Naya Create was named a 2023 CES Innovation Awards Honoree. Indeed, traditional input devices and specialized hardware no longer meet the needs of today's creators, as software advances at an unprecedented speed. Naya Create is designed to bridge this gap by offering modularity and programmability, allowing creators to adapt to the transformations in their workflows.
The Naya Create project will eliminate the time-consuming process of device switching. By integrating multiple functions into a single device, creators will be able to stay focused, seamlessly switching between tasks, without compromising their productivity. Naya Create's modular design will allow users to tailor their keyboard setup to their specific needs. Four hot swappable modules in 16 possible configurations will provide a wide range of options for customization. Each module will serve a unique purpose, including Naya Track for precise pointer control, Naya Touch for intuitive pointer control and touch gestures, Naya Float for navigating 3D environments, and the versatile Naya Tune which is a fully programmable dial that pairs with Naya Pulse technology (powered by Hapticore) to allow for endless haptic customization.
To further enhance the user experience, the brand is developing Naya Flow, custom software to enable full customization and adaptability. Users will be able to reprogram and map functions to create their own unique workflow. The software will also offer application-specific layouts that dynamically change based on the current open program, as well as on-screen overlays for easy reference to custom layers and bindings.
"The only constant is change," said Moritz Angermann, Co-Founder and CTO of Naya. "We're designing Naya Create with the belief that modern creators need tools that can keep up with their ever-changing needs, not to be burdened by the limitations of traditional keyboards and input devices. Our keyboard's modular design and customizable software will provide the flexibility and customization options necessary for seamless transitions across different creative disciplines, projects, and software for ideal workflows and peak productivity."
Prioritizing user comfort, Naya Create has an ergonomic design integrating low profile switches, a split keyboard layout, and variable tenting. The low-profile switches will minimize wrist extension, while sculpted keycaps enhance accuracy and reduce finger travel distance. The keyboard's solid aerospace-grade aluminum construction will ensure durability and a sleek aesthetic.
The estimated production and delivery of Naya Create are Q4 2023 and Q1 2024, respectively. Media wishing to interview their personnel should contact PR agent Jackson Wightman at [email protected].
