NeuroFlow Completes SOC 2 Security Examination to Further Data Security
Continued momentum from recent HITRUST certification demonstrates a commitment to protecting personal health data
PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 7, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- NeuroFlow, the market leader in behavioral healthcare technology infrastructure, completed its SOC 2 audit reinforcing its commitment to protecting the confidentiality and integrity of health data.
The SOC 2 audit was conducted by leading compliance assessor A-LIGN, a technology-enabled security and compliance partner trusted by more than 2,500 global organizations to help mitigate cybersecurity risks. This security milestone comes just months after NeuroFlow achieved HITRUST certification in September 2022.
"Creating a safe, secure tool is of the utmost importance to us. The most effective way we can execute on this goal is through conducting these comprehensive external audits and examinations," said NeuroFlow Chief Operating Officer Adam Pardes. "This is an important step for the company as we continue to meet and exceed the needs of our enterprise customers across multiple industries looking for better ways to scale integrated care models."
Established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the SOC 2 examination is designed for organizations of any size, regardless of industry and scope, to ensure the personal assets of their potential and existing customers are protected. SOC 2 reports are recognized globally and affirm that a company's infrastructure, software, people, data, policies, procedures and operations have been formally reviewed.
"A SOC 2 audit is a statement about an organization's commitment to protecting their information," said Stephanie Oyler-Rankin, SOC Practice Lead at A-LIGN. "As a trusted third-party assessment firm, A-LIGN independently evaluates client data processes and procedures, governance on internal controls and security posture. NeuroFlow's SOC 2 report validates its commitment to data security and protection, as well as compliance with critical standards to mitigate cybersecurity threats."
NeuroFlow will perform a SOC 2 re-assessment on an annual basis and can make the report available to current or potential customers upon execution of a non-disclosure agreement. The combination of HITRUST and SOC 2 puts NeuroFlow in a select group of organizations to complete the certifications, and furthers the company's position as the leading software infrastructure powering integrated behavioral health and suicide prevention programs of care delivery organizations across the United States.
