New 100,000 Foot Furniture Concept is Opening in Austin- The Furniture Mall of Texas
Furniture Mall of Texas opens its doors to the public on Saturday, February 13th. The 100,000 square foot furniture store is the fourth location in the Furniture Mall family, and it is being opened in partnership with Austin-based Couch Potatoes. Furniture Mall of Texas provides customers with a no-hassle, commission-free shopping experience and unbeatable prices.
AUSTIN, Texas, Feb. 11, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Furniture Mall of Texas is slated to open this Saturday the 13th, bringing 100,000 square feet of "Good, Better, Best" furniture and mattress selection with a no-hassle, commission free shopping experience.
Furniture Mall of Kansas, which was started in Topeka, Kansas, by the Winter Family, partnered with Brian Morgan, Dan Anthony, and Travis Morgan, owners of Austin's Couch Potatoes, who will run the Austin location.
Both Furniture Mall and Austin's Couch Potatoes are members of the Furniture First buying group, which is how the companies got to know each other and start this new partnership.
"We are truly excited to bring this furniture and mattress store concept, which combines great prices, large selection, and a fun, stress-free shopping experience, to Austin. It's truly not like anything else in the Austin market today," said Brian Morgan, owner partner.
The new store, which was initially scheduled to open in 2020, but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Furniture Mall of Texas marks the fourth location in the Furniture Mall family. The other locations are located in Topeka and Olathe, Kan.
Furniture Mall of Texas will feature five product categories: sofas, mattresses, bedrooms, dining, accents, and outlet. This store-within-a-store format is similar to how the stores are organized in Kansas. A café serving FREE fresh baked oatmeal chocolate chip cookies from a family recipe, homemade frozen custard which has been a family favorite for 6 generations, gourmet coffee, and other baked goods is a hallmark of Furniture Mall locations, and the new store is no exception.
