Authors and siblings, Naomi, Donald, and Ronald Terranella invite readers on a journey of faith
PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., July 5, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Inspired by a loving God, the Terranella family hopes to help readers see the strength, guidance, and compassion God offers by reading their new poetry book, "Earth Light," a celebration of God's work.
Based on scripture, the purpose of this book is to fill the reader's heart with God's promises and grace. An example of His love is conveyed in this excerpt from their book. The following poem is entitled "The Cross."
"They hung our Lord upon a cross, a deed that lives in infamy. Now, we hang one 'round our necks, forgetting not His agony. A symbol known throughout the world, whatever land we live in. A sign that shows such mercy that the nailer was forgiven."
The authors state, "When we have faced difficult times, God was not only with us, but he offered the perfect guidance we needed. Together, our family has lived through sorrow and joy, failure and success, chaos and calm, and sin and redemption. God's love has given us a reason to honor him through our poetry. Amid our struggles, God's light shines its brightest, illuminating the path we are called to walk."
By weaving the words together to create a story of emotions and experiences, the Terranella family hopes to invite readers to join their journey of faith.
"Each poem is a heartfelt expression of gratitude, awe, and reverence for the divine presence of God," they said. "We hope our book may capture the essence of the Christian faith and offer a beacon of hope to those facing challenges, uncertainty, or moments of doubt."
