CHICAGO, Feb. 6, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Home Health Care News, an Aging Media Network publication, is pleased to announce the results of its annual outlook survey on the state of the home heath and home care markets.
Conducted in collaboration with Dallas-based Homecare Homebase, the survey gathers the opinions of more than 500 industry professionals to uncover the industry outlook for 2020. Responses come from a range of provider representatives, including owners, operators, C-suite executives, managers and staff.
The report on the survey results includes highlights on how industry stakeholders are identifying growth areas, targeting technology adoption and adapting to the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM), among other topics.
In summary, respondents indicated:
- Staffing and changing payment models are the two biggest challenges for in-home care agencies in 2020
- New payment models are the top driver of technology adoption in 2020
- Despite uncertainty in home health, industry insiders still view it as a strong growth opportunity
"The survey results indicate staffing and payment changes remain equally challenging for the coming year, but on the upside, providers see growth potential in non-medical in-home care," said HHCN Editor Bob Holly.
The full survey results are available here.
