NVTC Announces 2015 Hot Ticket Award Finalists and Winners
Herndon, VA (PRWEB) June 23, 2015 -- The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) announced today the winners of the 14th Annual NVTC Hot Ticket Awards, honoring the region’s best and brightest entrepreneurial technology companies. More than 450 members of the Northern Virginia technology community were in attendance to celebrate the nominated companies poolside at the home of NVTC President and CEO Bobbie Kilberg with special guest Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe. During the event, Gov. McAuliffe discussed his collaboration with NVTC, key advances in Virginia’s economic development, and his commitment to entrepreneurs and businesses.
The awards program was emceed by Mark Anderson of Smoking Hot Sponsor” BDO and Katherine Ferguson of “Smoking Hot Sponsor” Cooley. The judges for the 2015 Hot Ticket Awards included Jonathan Aberman of Amplifier Ventures, Joe Greeves of Cordia Partners, Steve Graubart of 1776, Ron Kaiser, Nick Lantuh, Jim Russo of Potomac Consultants, and April Young of Hercules Technology Growth Capital.
Nominations were collected for five categories: Hottest Bootstrap, Hottest Company Culture, Hottest Friend of the Entrepreneur, Hottest Startup, and Hottest Venture Capital Deal. In addition, the judges selected Booz Allen Hamilton as the winner of the 2015 Hall of Fame Award. The finalists and winners in each category are as follows:
