Leading Architecture and Interior Design Firm Promotes Top Talent to New Leadership Positions
WASHINGTON, Jan. 25, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- OTJ Architects is pleased to announce the promotion of key staff members to leadership positions: Elizabeth Long, AIA, LEED AP, was advanced to Partner, Camie Bingham, IIDA, LEED AP, Holly Martin, IIDA, CID, LEED AP, Pascal Molenat, and Pete Ducas, AIA, LEED AP, were named Senior Associates while Katie Schiavi, WELL AP, Archana Tembulkar, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, Margaret Fogarty, IIDA, NCIDQ, Spencer Sear, AIA, and Amy Carter, IIDA, were made Associates.

Elizabeth Long, AIA, LEED AP, is a talented design architect who is adept at guiding the client through the interior architectural design process. Her advancement to Partner recognizes her proven leadership, strategic approach to design, and ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments. Elizabeth graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Architecture. She has recently completed projects for clients such as Booz Allen Hamilton and Yelp.
Senior Associates:
Camie Bingham, IIDA, LEED AP, is committed to advancing her client's business objectives through the design of high-performing workplaces noted equally for their functionality, aesthetics, and brand savvy. Her recent work on both the Sands Capital and Aspen Institute headquarters exemplifies OTJ's position as a recognized design leader. In addition, Camie initiated and leads OTJ's Grass Roots committee – connecting staff across studios to inspire continued focus on design excellence. Camie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design from Marymount University.
Holly Martin, IIDA, CID, LEED AP, is the former president of the IIDA Mid-Atlantic Chapter. A recognized industry leader, she believes that the most successful design outcomes are grounded in strategy informed by industry-specific research and client evidence. Holly holds a Masters in Real Estate Management which offers her a unique, business-centric perspective on design that aligns strategic, operational, and human objectives. Holly recently delivered new workplaces for Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and FiscalNote.
Pascal Molenat is OTJ's Vice President of Marketing. Pascal partners with OTJ's design and executive leaders as well as its marketing and business development teams to deliver holistic solutions that shape the firm's reputation and support its fast-paced growth in Washington, D.C., New York, NY, and the continental United States. Pascal's professional experience spans the fields of publishing, public relations, as well as corporate branding and communications. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film and Television Production from New York University.
Pete Ducas, AIA, LEED AP, is noted for his expertise in the design and delivery of complex technical and security solutions for clients who require network operations centers, training rooms, and state-of-the-art conference facilities. A sample of his recently completed projects includes the 350,000 SF headquarters of the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Overseas Building Operation (DOS OBO) as well as the new OneWeb workplace. Pete holds both a Master and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Catholic University of America.
Associates:
Amy Carter, IIDA, is a former founding partner of Esoarc Studio who brings nearly 25 years of commercial interior design experience to bear on proj¬ects spanning the private, nonprofit, and government sectors. Since joining OTJ, Amy has doubled the size of a team focused primarily on the delivery of landlord projects, including commercial building repositioning and tenant build-outs. Her clients include Cushman & Wakefield, Stout & Teague, Blake Real Estate, Monday Properties, JPMC, and HHS/OIG among others. Amy graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.
Archana Tembulkar, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, is the director of OTJ's growing New York Studio. For over twenty years, Arch – as she is known in the industry – has led the design and delivery of exacting interiors in many of Manhattan's most distinguished class-A properties. A graduate of the Southern California Institute of Architecture's Master's program, Arch is currently at work on projects for Paypal, Morgan Stanley, and Marx Realty.
Katie Schiavi, WELL AP, serves as OTJ's Regional Director of Business Development for the New York area where she continues to play a vital role in the firm's expansion. Katie draws on a background in account management and consultative sales to cultivate trust-based relationships across the spectrum of a project's stakeholder base. She has been instrumental in the success of recent OTJ projects such as PayPal, Cultural Vistas, and The RealReal.
Margaret Fogarty, IIDA, NCIDQ, continues to challenge how leading corporations conceive of the built environment through the design of innovation centers and workplaces for clients such Booz Allen Hamilton and Adobe. Her spatial solutions are grounded in a deep understanding of her clients' business objectives and promote cross-departmental collaboration. In addition, Margaret was instrumental in the successful delivery of digital giant Yelp's new Washington, D.C. offices. Margaret attended the University of Georgia where she received a Bachelor of Science in Furnishings and Interiors.
Spencer Sear, AIA, is an experienced architect adept at designing for technical programmatic requirements, coordinating specialty consultants, and implementing best practices for production and construction oversight. Spencer serves at OTJ's firm-wide Director of Technology and is active in multiple training and quality assurance initiatives. Spencer holds a Master and Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Nebraska. He is currently leading the delivery of multiple projects nationwide for Strayer University and recently completed the headquarters of the American Geological Institute.
