Patterson Legal Group Gives Away Up to 700 Backpacks with School Supplies for the 2021-2022 School Year at FREE Drive-thru Giveaway in Wichita
In an effort to help offset costs associated with preparing for the 2021-2022 school year, Patterson Legal Group will once again host a FREE Wichita Backpack Giveaway.
WICHITA, Kan., July 15, 2021 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- In an effort to help offset costs associated with preparing for the 2021-2022 school year, Patterson Legal Group will once again host a FREE Wichita Backpack Giveaway. This year's back to school event will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Sedgwick County Park (6501 W 21st St, Wichita, KS 67205) in the Boundless Playground parking lot from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Families with K-12 students are invited to drive through and pick up a free backpack with school supplies. Quantities are limited to around 700 backpacks with supplies, and will be handed out one per student on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.
Students must be present in vehicles to receive a backpack. Families are also asked to be mindful of pedestrians and other vehicles when entering and exiting the parking lot.
"As students and families prepare to return to school, we know that costs associated with purchasing new supplies, clothes, and other essential items can become overwhelming; especially so for families still financially recovering from pandemic losses. In an effort to help offset these burdens, our team wanted to help check items off their back-to-school list by providing backpacks that also include pens, pencils, rulers, erasers, glue, notebooks, and folders," remarked Managing Partner Gary Patterson.
The law firm will also host a Backpack Giveaway in Garden City, KS on Tuesday, August 3, in addition to two others on Saturday, August 7 in St. Joseph, MO and Topeka, KS.
