SPRINGFIELD, Mo., Feb. 11, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Paul Mueller Company announces plans to unveil its new dairy silo at the World Ag Expo held February 12-14, 2019, in Tulare, California. Visitors are invited to view the 10,000-gallon Mueller silo on display, the first of its kind for the industry.
"As more dairy farmers are consolidating, their need for on-farm storage is growing and the time they have to maintain that storage equipment is shrinking," said Mike Mills, General Manager of Dairy Farm Equipment at Paul Mueller Company. "That's why we created this all-stainless steel base, aluminum-jacketed silo for easier maintenance."
The new silo's all-stainless steel, bullseye-bottom base protects against fatigue and prevents rust. The inner tank incorporates a patented inflated-type Temp-Plate® heat transfer surface. The surface removes more heat from milk in the same amount of time. The silo not only maintains temperature but allows farmers increased cooling capacity and more on-farm storage than ever before, with five sizes ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 gallons.
Dairy producers are encouraged to come by Mueller's booths, DS79 and DS80, at World Ag Expo to see and feel this new silo for themselves.
