The National Judicial College (NJC) was founded in 1963 (under the American Bar Association administrative umbrella and named the National College of State Trial Judges) and is proud of its continuous service to the nation's judiciary. Judges from all areas of the judicial system, such as those working in the limited and general jurisdiction fields, as well as administrative law, tribal, and military judges, have benefited from the judicial education programs offered at the College. The College is located on the historic 255-acre campus of the University of Nevada, Reno.

Peter Bennett is nationally recognized as a leader representing management in the field of labor and employment law. He is very active in the American Bar Association, where he currently serves as Chair of their Standing Committee on Judicial Independence, and is a past Chair of the Association’s 24,500 member Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section.
