FREDERICK, Md., April 19, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Piece O' Cake LLC, a bakery who specializes in cake, cupcakes, gluten-free, and vegan, announced that they are now open in Westview Village located off of Buckeystown Pike.
Piece O' Cake has been in business since 2009, a whopping 14 years come this autumn. Naomi Jones (then Naomi Reis), started the cake shop at only 23 years old, and has been steadily growing the business all these years. Moving with trends and adding dietary need items into the menu (such as gluten-free and vegan), she is very excited about being in a location where customers from all over the county, and surrounding counties, can easily stop in for their much loved goodies.
"I love the smile a simple sweet treat or birthday cake can bring to a person! Oftentimes it is the day to day, uncomplicated experiences in our lives that bring the most joy", Naomi says in describing the love of her journey.
Piece O' Cake also donates regularly to the local soup kitchen and supports non-profits locally and world-wide.
Although they already opened April 1 at Westview, Piece O' Cake will be hosting a grand opening event Saturday, May 6 with freebies, face painting, cake samples, photo booth, contests for free cupcakes, and a balloon prize courtesy of Eby's Events!
